DIY "Bey- Day" Party!

“Okay, ladies now let’s get in formation!”

… for some Bey-inspired party inspo!

We, here at “Party With Lex” have got some super cool ideas for an all-ladies soiree just in time for Gal-entine’s Day! And what better way to celebrate “who run the world” than to channel the Queen Bey, herself! Here are some fun, behind-the-scenes tips and tricks that I used this year to put on the perfect Lemonade ladies night!

  1. First and foremost, I started this party just how I would start any other - with a vision board! Vision boards are a great way to set the tone for any event and make it easy to stay on track when shopping for supplies. They are also super helpful in keeping the party cohesive. For example: Sourcing out a local baker for some treats that’ll match your party theme? Be sure to shoot them a copy of your vision board to give them a better idea of what it is you’re looking for! After doing some research online, here is the vision board that I put together for my event…

2. Secondly, came the invitations and the matching stationery to follow.

3. Next, is the decor! One of the most fun parts about any party, in my opinion, is styling it. After all, decorations are what gives a party it’s pizzazz! Sticking with the theme of “Lemonade” and the “Queen Bey” I made sure there were lots of fun bright yellow tones and pinks to tie in for V-day! We used hexagon shaped plates from Oriental Trading Co. to give a cute honeycomb vibe and these ULTRA-fabulous “Drunk in Love” napkins that tied in perfectly with the theme.

Can’t have a “Lemonade” party without lemonade!

These custom-made decals from the very creative ladies over at Bespoke Bride make for some lovely parting favors after your hen party and add a cute, personal touch!

4. For the food, I put together a fun, Beyonce’ themed brunch menu which included items such as:

  • Watermelon & Arugula Salad

  • “When he F*ck me good I take his ass to Red Lobster” Biscuits

  • Chicken and Waffles with Honey-infused syrup
